Read this guide to open & set up your wallet on Phantom to prepare for Infinite Drive’s first NFT Drop.
Can’t wait to become a real Infinite Driver? This week we are sharing with you a complete walkthrough to prepare the start of your adventure in the Infinite Drive play-to-earn metaverse.
Follow these steps to get started:
On desktop
Creating a Phantom wallet is the first step to let you store, buy, send, receive, swap tokens and collect NFTs on the Solana blockchain safely and easily. Please watch the video below for a step by step guide.
Important: Store your “Secret Recovery Phrase” in a safe and secure location, it is the only way to recover your wallet. At no point will a member of the Infinite Drive or Phantom team ever ask you for this phrase.
We recommend you to create a wallet on desktop for its simplicity and safety. But if you still want to create your wallet on mobile, here are the steps to follow.
On mobile
Then your wallet is created! You can copy your wallet address on mobile by going to the dollars tab at the bottom left of your screen. Click on your wallet at the top of your screen and it will automatically copy your wallet address.
If you don’t already have Solana at your disposal, you will have to purchase Solana on an exchange to cover your mint expenses.
You can purchase your desired amount of Solana on one of these exchanges: Binance, Coinbase, Uphold, Kraken.
Register on your preferred exchange, buy the amount of Solana tokens (SOL) you need at your disposal and send them to your wallet.
Important information: anticipate, register and buy your SOL in advance because according to the exchange it can take several days to validate your account or transfer your SOL to your wallet. Make sure to read every exchange purchase and transfer conditions if it’s your first wallet.
You will need to withdraw the amount of Solana required to purchase the Infinite Drive NFTs from the exchange by entering your wallet address as your withdrawal destination.
Congratulations! You are now a Solana owner! You will need these tokens to purchase your Infinite Drive NFTs once they are dropped.
