Meet the talents behind The Tiny Digital Factory, in a series of interviews.
Today, Miklós tells us about himself. He is Product Marketing Manager at The Tiny Digital Factory. He is in charge of all aspects of marketing and communication around the studio’s games. This position covers a wide range of tasks relating to community management, partnership research and the presence of our games on the various app stores.
Yes, a lot, mainly on PS5! Right now I’m playing Ride 5, and before that Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Death Stranding and The Last Of Us 2. So pretty mainstream games, and quite a few racing games too, like Gran Turismo 7, Assetto Corsa, the WRC games…
I work from home in Paris, and I come to the Lyon office every Monday. It’s going very well, my managers have confidence in me, and I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work remotely almost full-time.
It depends! When I’m focused I don’t listen to music, but when I’m doing more repetitive tasks I listen to metal. I’m delighted to share this playlist with you!
I wanted to be a racing driver! My dream was to become a Formula 1 driver, but after I started karting my father thought it was far too expensive (laughs). I kept the passion, but I decided to go into gaming, and at TDF we produce racing games, so it’s a good fit for me.
I have 2 memories that come to mind: the first is the launch of our game GT Manager on mobile in March 2021. I’d just joined the studio, so it’s a pretty important milestone for me, and I’m glad to have been part of it as soon as I arrived. The second memory is when GT Manager won Best Racing Game on the Samsung Galaxy Store that same year!
If you aspire to break into the gaming industry, it’s crucial to proactively cultivate your professional network early on. The best way to do that is actively participate in industry events like Gamescom, where you can engage in face-to-face conversations with industry insiders but you can also consider LinkedIn to initiate meaningful connections.
Never underestimate the influence of a well-established network in propelling your career forward!
