MEET THE TEAM
ROXANE - ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

Meet the talents behind The Tiny Digital Factory, in a series of interviews.

Today, it’s Roxane’s turn, Associate Producer at The Tiny Digital Factory. She is in charge of the day-to-day management of the GT Manager game production team. She makes sure that her team knows what to work on, in which priority, that their work is facilitated upstream, and that they have all the tools necessary to perform their tasks.

DO YOU PLAY VIDEO GAMES?

Of course! I played a lot of MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Binding of Isaac. I also love anything Roguelike. On mobile, I played a lot of Marvel Strike Force, even if I don’t play much on this platform. In general, I play by period, as content is released.

WHO INSPIRES YOU IN YOUR WORK?

At school I had a teacher, Emmanuel Régis, who helped me grow into the project management part of a production team. He was an incredible mentor, and it was largely because of him that I enjoyed doing project management during my 3 years of study.

He taught me a lot of skills. He was someone who always listened, who wanted to understand the problems, and who had this role of « facilitator », that is able to detect the gaps of each one, to help them, and to allow them to surpass themselves in their work.
I have very good memories of him, and I try to apply the same methods today on a daily basis.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU IN VIDEO GAMES?

For me the most important thing is to play with others. Most of the games I play are multiplayer. I wouldn’t say that video games are an escape for me, I can’t remember a game that really made me escape. It’s mostly a way to take my mind off things, to pass the time, to focus on something other than work.

Generally speaking, video games are a joy; beyond coming to the office every morning to play them, I’ve always associated it with pleasure since I was a child.

CAN YOU SHARE A PRODUCER'S PRIVATE JOKE?

ONE LAST WORD ?

For those who might be interested in working in this field, don’t hesitate to take the initiative and go for it. Even if you don’t find a job offer, you should send what you have done because you never know! This is an environment that works a lot on the basis of feeling, and opportunities can appear despite everything.
