GT MANAGER
KEY QUALITIES FOR A DRIVER?

Earlier this year, we were privileged to engage in an insightful conversation with some of the world’s most exceptional LMP2 and Hypercar racing drivers in anticipation of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps!

In GT Manager, as in real life racing, the distinction between success and mediocrity depends on different driver skills. Tyre management, velocity, overtaking prowess, and the art of adeptly defending one’s position on the track are just a few of the essential facets that make up the arsenal of these exceptional drivers.

Moreover, the role of teamwork cannot be overstated in the realm of endurance racing. Drivers, along with their team managers, engineers, strategists work in tandem to execute seamless pit stops, strategize race tactics, and adapt to unexpected challenges that inevitably arise during the race. The synergy between the driver and the team is a pivotal aspect of achieving success in this demanding motorsport discipline.

So, what truly defines a good endurance racing driver according to them? Is it their ability to expertly manage tire wear over long stints, their skill in overtaking opponents, or their mastery of defensive maneuvers to protect their position?
