INFINITE DRIVE
EXPANDING TO THE
POLYGON BLOCKCHAIN

In these last few weeks, the Infinite Drive team has been reflecting about the blockchains, how we can improve the project and the players experience!

We are now thrilled to announce that the Infinite Drive project will expand to the Polygon platform on the Ethereum blockchain and we will continue to support and advance with the Solana blockchain as well as the Phantom wallets.
This decision has been thought about for a long time and we believe that it is the best for the project’s future.

Reasons behind this diversification

  • Security: Your NFTs will be better protected as Metamask is the first wallet to fully support Ledger on Mobile. Being on multiple blockchains also ensures us that the game won’t close because a blockchain went down. This way we are protecting users assets.

  • Interoperability: Our goal resides in creating a racing platform and as a lot of racing games are on Polygon. This way it will be easier for us to create a real ecosystem between games.

What does it mean for the players?

  • We will continue to support Phantom wallets and if you purchased a Car Series 1 NFT, you will be able to play with 2 wallets (Phantom & MetaMask) at the same time.

  • As for the Aston Martin collection, it will be required to have a MetaMask wallet to mint on our launchpad marketplace and own the cars. Read this guide to know how to setup a MetaMask wallet!

FAQ:

WHAT ARE THE REASONS FOR SUPPORTING AN ADDITIONAL BLOCKCHAIN, SUCH AS POLYGON?

This decision has been thought about for a long time, there are multiple reasons behind this:

– Users security: We often advise users to use a ledger to protect the integrity of the assets and Metamask is the first wallet to fully support Ledger on Mobile. Using an offline wallet such as the Ledger Nano is the most efficient and secure way to store the private keys, which control the crypto-assets you own. The Ledger Nano stores your private keys offline, so that no one on the Internet can corrupt them. This is why the combination of Ledger and MetaMask is considered the most secure and harmonious alternative.

– Protecting Infinite Drive: Being on multiple blockchains ensure us that the game won’t close because a blockchain went down. This way we are protecting users assets.

– Interoperability: As we wish to create an interoperability between games, it will be more easier for the realization of this project if we’re supporting the Polygon Blockchain as a lot of racing games are on it. Our goal is to create an ecosystem between games!
